La Crosse WI Engagement Session | Morgan + Fran

These two melt my heart <3 Morgan and Fran met in college when Morgan dropped her pencil an obscene number of times during class, and Fran picked it up every time like a true gentleman. From there, their friendship and relationship grew into a beautiful connection. I’m so thankful I got to photograph their engagement session in fall 2021. Morgan trusted my vision 100% for this, and though our plans changed a little bit when the original flower bushes I scouted out got MOWED, we still had such a fun time on this cloudy fall day.

Morgan wanted to make sure her photos had a natural and less posey feel, so I gave them lots of prompts to keep them cozy and thinking about each other. Their second outfit was so cute and natural, and we really leaned into those vibes.

and the final surprise, ghosts! Morgan loves halloween and really wanted to so something spooky themed. so we made them into ghosts and played around with some smoke bombs to give them some cool spooky engagement photos.
