Meet Jenna <3 my lil libra bestie. if I had to describe her in one word, I would choose “sunshine”. she lights up a room the minute she walks in, she can make conversation with just about anyone, she runs into someone she knows just about everywhere we go, and she’s always going out of her way to grow and make positive changes in the world and herself. she has also built her own success and runs the top performing Herbalife nutrition club in the area. pretty incredible, honestly. I say all of that because Jenna is one of the most humble people I know, and will never say it about herself.

Jenna has been open about her journey through self love and what that looks like for her. the purpose of this session was to be smoking fucking hot and sexy for HERSELF.

the shadow side of boudoir is just as important as the glam and empowerment side. feelings of shame, guilt, and even embarrassment can arise during these sessions. years of being told to cover up, to be modest, to save yourself, to think about how others will perceive you, and the “rules” around what’s “appropriate” can be strong voices in your head. the journey to loving yourself can be covered with obstacles like trauma, self harm, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, broken relationships, and any other curve ball. but none of those should stop you from genuinely, wholeheartedly, loving yourself in whatever way feels best for you.

and also, the sun and the moon and the world literally revolves around the female body. we are not women we are gods. we are allowed to do whatever we want. INCLUDING being sensual for no reason other than wanting to be sensual. period thank you.
